Remote Proctored Exam
This was introduced in April 2020 for the PMP® It is also available for the CAPM®and the PMI-ACP®exams.
You can select an online exam if you prefer to do the exam from home or your office.
If you choose this method, make sure that you have carefully reviewed the system compatibility requirements and done a systems test.
You will need a camera and sound because a proctor (invigilator) is supervising you during your entire exam. They also use proctoring software that detects possible cheating or misconduct.
You will need to take photos of your walls, show the proctor around your room with your computer camera, show your id -- and you will need to keep focused on the actual exam screen.
If the software detects that you are not looking at the screen where the questions are -they will ping you and possibly cancel the exam (in case you were thinking of taping notes around your monitor! --don't do it)
You cannot go to the restroom or move out of the camera view during the exam, except for during the 10-minute break between part 1 and part 2 of the exam.
Details, Video of the Process and System Requirements (very important!)
What does the 'Whiteboard' feature look like?
It is very similar to Microsoft Paint :-). Not that user-friendly though.
