The PMP application has changed (effective June 2020)
The experience statements must be a minimum of 100 WORDS (200 -500 is recommended). It can be longer, even 200 words! However, there is no value in documenting more than what is necessary.
You must describe the project objective and your role as a project manager. You don't have to address the 5 domains (i.e. initiation, planning, etc.) and you can if you like, but it needs to be clear that you have project management experience. Agile projects count too (i.e. in case you were a Scrum Master).
They do want you to describe the project objectives, the outcome, your role, and identify or describe the actual project deliverables, no only the project management artefacts.
The example provided below has been reviewed by PMI and they have given me feedback that it covers what they expect to see. Unfortunately there is not enough experience yet with it to understand what might trigger PMI to say that the description is not sufficient.
Need a simple spreadsheet to map out your projects? Here you go. You might not need it as the new process is simple but it could help.

Please DO NOT copy this example into your application. It must be your own experience :-)
